Jenny was from the time of the 'Copper Cat' in Christchurch, New Zealand. 1963 I have no photos of her.


Kim Carr (NZ)


I met Kim in Hanmer Springs (New Zealand) during my time as musician at 'The Lodge'. We remained close friends for a long time, and I met her again in Sydney Australia.


Yvonne (AU)


Daughter of Hans and Jean Meyer, first introduced by Kim Carr when they lived in Darlinghurst. Hans (her father) was a chef in Slamat Makan (Indonesian restaurant in Darlinghurst). Later they moved to Mount Druit, where I ould spend many weekend for many years. After Hans died (cancer) the family seemed to fall apart with xxx having boyfriends and Yvonne fall pregnant to a guy who spent a fair amount in jail. After that I stopped coming.

Mae was a very good friend from Malaysia. English teacher by profession and very good at that. She visited me in Daylesford for a week.

Cathy was from China. We actually never met, but she did apply for a Visitor Visa for Australia which was declined.


WenWen (CN)


WenWen lives in Fushun, China. I visited her on two occasion. Great lady.


Wei (CN)


Wei was a great lady, she was my host in Guiyang, Zunyi and Xiping.
